Mastroberardino Radici Taurasi
Description:
In the two thousand year history of the Aglianico grape, Taurasi, the wine of the "vigne opime" of ald Taurasia mentioned by Livy, has a special place. Radici, which was produced for the first time in 1986, is the result of painstaking research into exposure, chemical and physical characteristics of terroir, and topography. Made from 100% Aglianico, Radici Taurasi has a strong personality typical of Irpinian viticulture.
This ruby red wine has a full, intense and complex bouquet consisting of violet and berries. Enveloping the mouth, it has persistent and elegant notes of plum, bitter cherry, strawberry jam and black pepper. Radici Taurasi pairs well with roasted meats, larger game, spiced dishes or truffle and mature cheeses.
