Lamuri, or love in Sicilian dialect, is Tasca d'Almerita's newest innovative wine, made from 100% Nero d'Avola, Sicily's most distinctive red wine grape. The wine combines the history of the Tasca d'Almerita family estate and this ancient varietal with a modern and intense fruit style. The Nero d'Avola vineyards are 10-15 years old, grown in mixed sandy and clay soil. The color is and intense ruby red and it has a bouquet of blackberry, mulberry, cherry and sour cherry jam, spices, laurel, cinnamon, vanilla, coffee, licorice and carob. The taste is rich, intense, soft and velvety soft tannins
